BUILD A CROSS

With the careful guidance of the staff member, you can build a cross out of driftwood. To begin with you get to choose two pieces of driftwood. Next, they are smoothed. Then the staff will help notch the wood and join them together. Finally, the cross is sent home where it can be coated with a preservative and hung on your wall or given to someone special.

We care about our environment. We try to reuse plastic bags. Additionally, the wood chips from the carvings are used to make fire starters. Finally, when driftwood is being collected around the lakes or rivers any garbage seen is also picked up.
