Sto was born in San Jose, California. He graduated from Lynbrook High School. He attended Cal Poly where he met the love of his life and wife of 38 years Kerrilyn Brown. They got engaged on the South Island of New Zealand while Sto was an International Program student. Sto gradu ted from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and practiced in Grass Valley for 27 years. In 2015, Sto and his family (Kerri, Austin, Shawna and Kyle) moved to Kalispell, Montana. They took over Kalispell Foot and Ankle Clinic and helped people with their foot care for the next ten years. In 2025, Sto felt a calling to tell others about Jesus and God.

Sto has always been amazed by nature and the human body. As a biology major and a foot doctor, he came to know the intricacies of nature and the human body. He doesn't believe that we are here due to random circumstances. Sto believes in a Higher Power, a Creator. God is all powerful and can take a small seed and turn it into a 300-foot tree or take two cells and transform them into a beautiful human being.

Driftwood by Sto really should be called Driftwood by God. For all of his life Sto has enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors. Now, Sto wants to share some of that beauty with others. Sto will be the first to admit that he doesn't always get a "Burning Bush" message from the God. But he does feel a calling to go out and talk about God's love.

God is eternal and everlasting. God is all knowing. God is the great physician and healer. God wants to have a relationship with you. God is so committed to that potential relationship with you that He sent his Son as a sacrifice for you. God also gave us the Bible to help us navigate the stresses of this world. God made us humans the stewards of the earth. We believe that we are ca led to take care of God's creation. We also believe that the world has distanced itself from od. And God does not like that. We hope that this display will help bring some of you closer to God.
